Jammed into the Great White at Goldcliff this morning ( Egret not Shark) From first platform saw it drop behind the bank into the third lagoon and said to John Bennet and Martin Bell who were there ' that was too (F------G) big for a little Egret' Before I could go to check it out Martin said its up again and it is a Great White. It flew across in front of us. A Grey Heron was close for size comparison. After disappearing behind the bank it came back for a few minutes and settled next to a little egret which it dwarfed before flying off west. Also 2 Culew Sands, Spot Red, Ruff, Green Sand and Greenshank and 100+ Snipe. Altogether quite lively. Maurice
