Cantref Reservoir - 06.30 - 09.30

Couldn't find the Great White Egret. Unfortunately Res was crawling with Fishermen, particuarly north end. 1 Red Kite over.

Similar situation at Llwyn-Onn...fishermen everywhere

A lesser pecker was a pleasant surprise at the bottom of the cliff face Tongwynlais, whilst walking to the Lewis arms for an afternoon snifter.

Great White Egret this evening at Beacons Reservoir, the one up from Cantref Res. Feeding on the west shore at 8.15pm and viewable from one of the several laybys on the A470. Sorry boys, no pics, this was a telescope job.

Also Singing Garden Warbler and Redstart

a quick trip OOC to goldcliffe this evening turned up......not a lot,other than the resident little owl.
